Switzerland defender Philippe Senderos will miss the rest of the World Cup after dislocating his shoulder in Friday's 2-0 win over South Korea.
The Arsenal youngster scored the opening goal in the victory as the Swiss topped Group G after keeping three clean sheets in their three matches.
However, Jakob Kuhn's side will be without the influential 21-year-old for the last 16 clash with Ukraine on Monday and any more games in the tournament if Switzerland progress.
Team doctor Rudolf Roeder said Senderos had suffered ligament damage, adding: "He will be out for a minimum of two weeks.
"There is a 50 per cent chance he will require an operation but the most important thing is rest for now."
