Arena set to name squad

United States coach Bruce Arena will announce his final 23-man squad for this summer's World Cup Finals on May 2.

It has been revealed that Arena will make the live announcement on ESPN's SportsCenter programme.

The USA squad is scheduled to meet on May 10 for a training camp in North Carolina and will play three pre-tournament friendlies - against Morocco, Venezuela and Latvia.

The FIFA deadline for the final squad announcements is not until May 15.
