Domenech aiming high
Thursday 29 June 2006
Read Bill Borrows every day during the World Cup on 4thegame - you know it makes sense!

France coach Raymond Domenech insists that defeat against Brazil in the quarter-finals would represent a disappointing World Cup for his side.
Domenech has consistently stated that he expects Les Bleus to reach the final and he has seen nothing in Germany to make him change that view.
"I am surprised to hear people say that if we lose to Brazil in the quarter-finals France has had a good World Cup," he said.
"I think the opposite - it would mean that we had lost and that it would be an unsuccessful campaign.
"We are building towards one objective, which is a final on July 9."
Brazil will start Saturday's last eight clash in Frankfurt as strong favourites, but that is of no interest to the supremely confident Domenech.
He added: "We are neither outsiders nor favourites, we just have a game with Brazil at 2100 hours on Saturday.
"We are looking forward with confidence, and everyone is delighted to be in the last eight.
"Brazil have been considered favourites for 40 years - they are used to playing under that sort of pressure. People have been writing us off as underdogs for 90 years."
