France captain Zinedine Zidane is expected to be fit to face Brazil in Saturday's World Cup quarter-final despite sitting out training on Thursday.
Team officials refused to give any details about the injury that prevented Zidane taking part in training, but stressed he is not a doubt for the last eight showdown in Frankfurt.
Defender Gael Givet, who is yet to feature in the tournament, also missed the session.
No details were given of the AS Monaco star's condition, as officials stuck rigidly to coach Raymond Domenech's policy of not discussing injury problems with the media.
