Poland coach Pawel Janas has resigned after his side's dismal showing in the World Cup finals in Germany.
Janas' side finished their Group A campaign with a victory over Costa Rica, but previous losses to Ecuador and hosts Germany had ruined any chances of making progress to the knockout stages.
Polish FA official Ryszard Czarnecki confirmed: "I spoke to Janas yesterday. The decision has been taken. He will not be the coach any more."
PZPN President Michal Listkiewicz added: "We have held talks with several people, but it is all still a possible scenario when Pawel Janas ceases to be trainer.
"A decision will be made on July 14."
