Raymond Domenech may be handed the chance to continue in his role as France coach after leading his side to the World Cup Final.
An ageing France side were not expected to challenge for honours in Germany but, after beating Spain, Brazil and Portugal in the knockout stages of the tournament, they eventually lost in a penalty shootout to Italy in the Final.
Domenech's current deal expires at the end of this month but the president of the French Football Federation (FFF), Jean-Pierre Escalettes, has said he wants him to stay on.
He said: "For me Raymond Domenech has not done a bad World Cup, he has actually done very well.
"I have always backed him up and if the other members of the board think the same, then we will make the right decision."
