Thuram takes his time

Read Bill Borrows every day during the World Cup on 4thegame - you know it makes sense!

Veteran France defender Lilian Thuram has yet to decide whether to call time on his glorious career with Les Bleus.
The 34-year-old came out of retirement to help France reach the World Cup final in Germany, taking his caps tally to a record 121, but Thuram seems unlikely to prolong his international career any further.
He told the French Football Federation's website: "My time with the France team finished badly first time round, but then I reconciled with it.
"We had a solid squad who wanted to build things together. That's the most important thing and I hope they manage to keep this team spirit, because this is the only way we can succeed.
"I am confident the young players will continue in this tradition."
Midfielder Claude Makelele is also reported to have called time on his career with France, having won his 50th cap in the showpiece final against Italy.
