Poland have appointed Leo Beehakker as their new coach, following the exit of Pawel Janas after a disastrous World Cup campaign.
Dutchman Beenhakker took charge of Trinidad & Tobago at the summer showpiece and has now been handed the job of rebuilding the Polish national team.
Poland Football Association chief Michal Listkiewicz confirmed: "I am happy we managed to persuade such a respected and successful coach to join us.
"I believe Beenhakker will introduce a new quality to Polish football and lead us to the European Championship finals for the first time."
Beenhakker added: "Poland have a long history of football and several very good results, but Poland have never been in the European Championships and this will be a challenge for me."
