Angola are confident that key striker Maurito will be fit enough to play in the World Cup finals.
The Al Wahda striker is expected to play for his club in a United Arab Emirates league match against Al Ain on Friday.
If the 24-year-old comes through the match unscathed it is expected that coach Luis Oliveira Goncalves will name him in his final 23-man squad on Sunday.
There had been fears that Maurito had broken his leg and would be sidelined for up to six months but Angolan officials now insist his club only wanted him to rest for several weeks.
