Lucic happy with progress

Sweden defender Teddy Lucic is confident that he will be fit enough to take part in his country's first Group B game at the World Cup finals against Trinidad & Tobago on June 10.

The 32-year-old BK Hacken defender sustained a thigh injury while playing for his club last week but is making good progress in his recovery.

Lucic told Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet: "It feels better and better the whole time. I went out jogging on Friday and did not feel anything at all.

"If it continues to progress this way, there is no danger of missing the World Cup."
