Brazil striker Ronaldo is keen to become the all-time leading goalscorer in World Cup Finals history in Germany this summer.
The Real Madrid forward has endured a difficult season in Spain but, after netting eight times four years ago in South Korea and Japan, he now has 12 World Cup goals overall, only two behind West Germany's Gerd Muller.
"I want to be the top scorer in the World Cup and it would be nice to pass the all-time record," Ronaldo said.
"I hope it will happen, but it isn't my main goal, which is to win the World Cup. If I score more than three goals, I'll be happy.
"We don't worry ourselves with anything else, we only think about ourselves and the team.
"I have not played too much for Real Madrid but I will be ready. I would like the fans at the Bernabeu to change their attitude towards me. I'm planning to stay, as I'm happy in Madrid and want to be successful there."
