Trinidad & Tobago boosted their confidence ahead of the World Cup finals with a 3-2 friendly victory against Austria Vienna on Tuesday.

The Soca Warriors led 2-0 at the break thanks to goals from Coventry striker Stern John and St Johnstone forward Jason Scotland.

Coach Leo Beenhakker made eight changes to his line-up at half-time and the Austrian side responded by pulling a goal back through Andreas Walzer in the 79th-minute.

Southampton youngster Kenwyne Jones soon restored the Caribbean side's two-goal advantage, before the Austrian champions pulled one back from the penalty spot in the final minute.
