Ghana gained a creditable 1-1 draw against Turkey in their latest World Cup warm-up game.
Nihat gave Turkey the lead after 17 minutes in Bochum, Germany, but Matthew Amoah netted on the hour to earn a draw for the Black Stars.
Meanwhile, midfielder Sulley Muntari feels his side can make it past the group stage, where they face Italy, Czech Republic and USA.
He commented: "It's a nice group and we shall do our best to qualify, even though the opponents are strong.
"Our aim is to qualify for the next round. We respect one by one our opponents, but we can do it.
"Ghana has a certain experience on the international field, we have the players to cope with going a long way in the World Cup."
