Trinidad & Tobago slumped to a 2-1 defeat against Wales in a World Cup warm-up game in Graz, Austria on Saturday.
The Caribbean side, who will be one of England's Group B opponents in Germany, took the lead after 32 minutes when Stern John forced the ball home from close range after a teasing free-kick from Chris Birchall.
However, the Dragons hit back six minutes later when Robert Earnshaw latched on to a James Collins knock down and fired home.
The under-strength Wales side then secured victory when Earnshaw struck again in the closing minutes.
Wales boss John Toshack was delighted with the display of his young team, but predicted that Trinidad & Tobago will struggle at the World Cup finals.
"They will try to give a good account of themselves, but it will be a major upset to qualify from their group," said Toshack.
"I do not fear for them, I cannot see them being turned over badly, but it will be very hard for them.
"History has a habit of producing shocks, but realistically it will be a major, major surprise if they qualify."
