Czech Republic midfielder Tomas Rosicky is expected to be fit to play at the World Cup finals after tests revealed his thigh injury is not as serious as originally feared.
The injury the Arsenal new boy suffered during Friday's 2-0 World Cup warm-up victory against Saudi Arabia will keep him out of Tuesday's friendly with Costa Rica, but coach Karel Bruckner is confident he will recover in time for the Czechs' Group E opener against USA on June 12.
"The medical examination came out in an excellent way. It is nothing serious," Bruckner told Sport newspaper.
Jan Koller is expected to play some part against Costa Rica after overcoming a knee problem that saw him miss most of the season, but Bruckner still has fitness worries about Tomas Galasek and Vladimir Smicer.
