Brazil stepped up their preparations for the World Cup with an 8-0 stroll against a Lucerne select side on Tuesday.
The event was essentially just a practice session for the holders but still attracted a crowd of 30,000 to the St Jakob stadium, near Brazil's Swiss training base.
Coach Carlos Alberto Parreira refused to read anything into the result but must have been pleased with Ronaldo's comeback from a thigh strain.
The Real Madrid striker lasted 67 minutes of his first game since April 8 and found the target twice.
Adriano also grabbed a brace, while Lucio, Juninho Pernambucano, Robinho and Kaka netted one each.
"It was a training session which achieved what we wanted," said Parreira.
"It's the first time for eight months this team has played a game in front of a crowd, live television and wearing the yellow shirt.
"It was time for the players to get to know each other again. This was the eighth day of our preparation and it is still very early."
The Selecao have only one international friendly scheduled, against New Zealand on June 4, before the finals get underway.
