Angola coach Luis Oliveira Goncalves remains confident that his side can progress from the group stage at the World Cup finals.
The Black Antelopes headed to their training camp in Europe in good spirits after lifting the Cosafa Castle Cup following victories against Mauritius and Lesotho.
However, their morale was hit when they slumped to a 2-0 friendly defeat against Argentina in Italy on Tuesday.
The scoreline did not reflect the South American side's dominance and goalkeeper Joao Ricardo was virtually the only Angola player to emerge from the match with his reputation enhanced.
Despite the setback, Goncalves is certain his side will prove to be a match for their Group D opponents at Germany 2006.
"I continue to believe that we will create a surprise," he said.
"Those are the three games I am worried about. Even if I know it will be difficult to play Portugal, Mexico and Iran, I know that Angola will be more motivated."
