Saudi Arabia's preparations for the World Cup suffered another blow when they were beaten 1-0 by Turkey in a friendly in Offenbach on Wednesday.
Turkey, who missed out on qualification for Germany 2006, dominated the game and secured victory thanks to a 59th-minute strike from Necati.
The defeat was Saudi Arabia's second in less than a week following their 2-0 reverse against Czech Republic and means they have now won just one of their last seven games.
The poor run of form must be a concern to coach Marcos Paqueta, who has stated that he expects his team to reach the knockout stages in Germany after being drawn in Group H alongside Spain, Ukraine and Tunisia.
