Trinidad & Tobago's preparations for the World Cup finals suffered another setback when they slumped to a 3-1 friendly defeat against Slovenia on Wednesday.
Milivoj Novakovic fired Slovenia, who did not qualify for Germany 2006, into a two-goal lead inside the opening 15 minutes.
Port Vale midfielder Chris Birchall halved the deficit with a well-taken goal shortly before the half-hour mark, but Novakovic took advantage of a goalkeeping error from Shaka Hislop 13 minutes from full-time to secure victory and complete his hat-trick.
The defeat came just five days after the Soca Warriors lost 2-1 to Wales, while coach Leo Beenhakker's plans have also been hit by Silvio Spann's enforced withdrawal from the squad.
The Caribbean side have one more warm-up game remaining, against Czech Republic on Saturday, before getting their World Cup campaign underway against Sweden on June 10.
