Valente targets glory

Read Bill Borrows every day during the World Cup on 4thegame - you know it makes sense!

Portugal defender Nuno Valente is in an upbeat mood going into the World Cup finals and sees no reason why Luis Felipe Scolari's side cannot go all the way and win the tournament.
The Euro 2004 hosts are tipped to ease through the group stage - they face games against Mexico, Iran and Angola - but Valente is taking nothing for granted.
The 31-year-old Everton star said: "We are calm. We know that we do not have easy opponents and that if we want to get through to the knockout phase we have to deliver on the pitch.
"But I believe that no dream is impossible and I would really like to get to the final and win it.
"Any team who go to the World Cup dream of winning it. We have to be very well prepared, as every team will be thinking the same way.
"We need to be right mentally and physically but it is an ambition, of course. It is difficult but not impossible."
