Paraguay striker Roque Santa Cruz looks set to have recovered from a knee injury in time to face England in Frankfurt on June 10.
The 24-year-old Bayern Munich forward had surgery on his right foot six months ago and damaged his knee trying to regain fitness.
However, Paraguay coach Anibal Ruiz confirmed: "He's definitely going to play."
Santa Cruz has been a regular in the Paraguay side for the last six years and moved to Bayern Munich from Olimpia in 1999.
However, a series of injuries have dogged his time in the Bundesliga and he has never scored more than five goals in a season for the German giants. He netted once in Paraguay's 2002 World Cup campaign.
