Freddie Ljungberg returned to action for Sweden in their disappointing 1-1 draw with Chile on Friday in their final warm-up match before the start of the World Cup.

The Arsenal midfielder played in the first half of the game before being substituted but it was a lack-lustre display by the Scandinavians.

Henrik Larsson scored the Swedes' goal but after the match coach Lars Lagerback said: "I think it was a really good test for us against a technically very skilled team, but it is not now they should win the matches, it's when it comes to the World Cup.

"The most important thing to learn from this match is that we need to play more aggressively, not to fall back too deeply."
