Aragones: We must improve
Sunday 4 June 2006
Read Bill Borrows every day during the World Cup on 4thegame - you know it makes sense!

Spain coach Luis Aragones admits that his side still have to improve greatly if they are to be serious contenders at the World Cup finals.
Aragones was talking after an umimpressive 2-0 friendly win over Egypt, secured thanks to goals from Raul and Jose Antonio Reyes either side of the interval.
"We are improving," said Aragones. "But I'm not completely happy because we still have to refine some aspects of our play.
"We gave the ball away too easily and gifted them several chances from which they could have scored.
"Sometimes we try playing too much and that could cost us dear in the World Cup. If we find ourselves 1-0 up, we need to tighten up and play on the break.
"We are going to try and win this World Cup, but we know that historically we have done nothing in this tournament."
