Brazil coach Carlos Alberto Parreira insists he is not worried about Ronaldo's fitness, despite the striker limping out of Sunday's 4-0 win in a World Cup warm-up match against New Zealand.

The Real Madrid star scored the opening goal before being forced out of the action at the interval because of blisters on his feet.

Parreira said: "We tried to do something at half-time but it continued to bother him and the doctor decided the best thing to do was to rest.

"Please don't make a seven-headed animal out of this - it's not a big issue. It will be all right in 48 hours."

Adriano, Kaka and Juninho Pernambucano all found the target after the break, but Parreira was not entirely satisfied with Brazil's display against a team ranked 118th in the world.

"It was a hard game. I thought 3-0 would have been a fair result but the important thing was that we created a great deal of chances," he said.

"The team played well and dominated New Zealand physically in the second half. But we will need to be better than that at the World Cup.

"We have things to improve including the ball out of defence and the co-ordination of the four men up front (Ronaldo, Kaka, Adriano and Ronaldinho).

"We also need to improve our concentration and positioning when using the long ball."
