Mateja Kezman is expected to be fit to play in Serbia & Montenegro's World Cup opener against the Netherlands despite picking up a knee injury in training on Saturday.
The Atletico Madrid striker, who was the Plavi's leading scorer during qualifying for Germany 2006, was forced to sit out Sunday's final warm-up game against a Carynthia province select XI in Austria.
However, the national team's medical staff are confident a couple of days rest will be sufficient for Kezman's injury to heal fully.
Serbia & Montenegro shrugged off the 27-year-old's absence to beat the Austrian-based invitation team 6-0.
Danijel Ljuboja scored twice and Savo Milosevic, Mladen Krstajic, Dusan Petkovic and Sasa Ilic also found the target to ensure Ilija Petkovic's men will head into the World Cup's 'Group of Death' in a confident mood.
Argentina and Ivory Coast will be Serbia & Montenegro's other opponents in Group C.
