Czech Republic playmaker Tomas Rosicky looks set to be fit enough to play in his country's opening Group E clash against the USA next Monday after recovering from a thigh injury.

The 25-year-old, who recently completed his transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Arsenal, sustained the injury in last month's friendly against Saudi Arabia and was forced to sit out the matches with Costa Rica and Trinidad and Tobago.

Rosicky said: "It seems okay. On Tuesday I will start to train with the other guys. I have no problems now."

Meanwhile, striker Jan Koller has completed his transfer from Borussia Dortmund to AS Monaco.

The 33-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the French side after scoring twice in Saturday's 3-0 friendly international victory against Trinidad & Tobago.

"Monaco submitted to me a concrete offer and the coach and management of the club were keen to sign me," said the giant striker.

"It is pleasant. My family will certainly like it."
