Spain completed their World Cup warm-up campaign with a 2-1 victory against Croatia in Geneva on Wednesday thanks to a late goal from Fernando Torres.
Croatia took the lead after 14 minutes when Pablo Ibanez headed into his own goal, but Spain moved on to level terms just after the hour when debutant Mariano Pernia's tame free-kick deceived Stipe Pletikosa.
The Croatian keeper then redeemed himself by saving a Torres penalty, but he could not prevent the Atletico Madrid striker securing victory with a solo goal in stoppage time.
The win extended Spain's unbeaten run to 22 matches and left Luis Aragones in a confident frame of mind ahead of his side's World Cup opener against Ukraine in Leipzig on June 14.
"I'm pleased with the way we came back from the two setbacks of the own goal and the missed penalty," said Aragones.
"These are the sort of things that can happen in the World Cup and it shows the team is convinced it can win."
