Andriy Shevchenko gave Ukraine coach Oleg Blokhin a boost by scoring on his return to action in a World Cup warm-up match against Luxembourg on Thursday.
The Chelsea striker has spent the past month on the sidelines with a knee injury but looked sharp during his 30-minute run out as a second-half substitute in the 3-0 victory.
Blokhin was pleased to see his captain playing again but refused to say whether he would start in Ukraine's Group H opener against Spain on June 14.
"In a few days we can say how he is feeling," said the coach.
All Ukraine's goals against Luxembourg came in the second half, with Andriy Voronin and Maxym Kalinichenko netting either side of Shevchenko's strike.
