Read Bill Borrows every day during the World Cup on 4thegame - you know it makes sense!
Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari is well aware of the enormity of the clash between his side and Angola on Sunday.
Angola face their former colonial masters, with Brazilian Scolari looking forward to a major sporting occasion for the two nations.
He said: "The game will be historic.
"It will be a game with a lot of friendship between athletes, a game with respect, fair play and a model game for us who speak the Portuguese language.
"We are friends, it is very important for us to transmit this message to the world."
Scolari is also adamant that Portugal need to get off to a strong start in Germany, adding: "The first game is always the most important. This is our way of thinking for the match.
"We have to control the ball, make good quality passes and have a lot of patience.
"We need to control the situation and the emotion and give them fewer opportunities for counter-attacks."
