Ukraine striker Serhiy Rebrov has backed his international team-mate Andriy Shevchenko to be a big hit in the Premiership when he links up with Chelsea next season.
Shevchenko sealed a £30million switch from AC Milan to Stamford Bridge just before his country's first appearance at the World Cup finals and Rebrov expects him to shine.
He said: "Andriy is the best player in the world so it doesn't matter where he plays. He has played at big clubs, AC Milan and now Chelsea.
"I said to him that of course it is a difficult league, but he is the best in the world.
"He has asked me to help him with his English so I tell him a couple of words. Every day he asks me something.
"It is most important to him to adapt to England because he doesn't speak any English."
Rebrov endured a torrid time in England earlier on in his career, scoring 11 goals in 85 league appearances for Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.
