Janas fears the worst

Read Bill Borrows every day during the World Cup on 4thegame - you know it makes sense!

Poland coach Pawel Janas has admitted that his side's World Cup hopes have virtually been extinguished by Wednesday's last-gasp 1-0 defeat against Germany.
The Poles have lost both their Group A games to date, 2-0 to Ecuador last Friday and 1-0 to Germany thanks to Oliver Neuville's stoppage-time goal and even a victory in their last match against Costa Rica is unlikely to help Janas' side reach the last 16.
"The goal at the very end has ruined our chances. I feel awful," he said.
"In the final minute we made mistakes by leaving the midfield empty and our defence had no chance."
