Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is rumoured to be lining up a bid for Germany full-back Philipp Lahm.
Press reports in Germany have suggested the Premiership champions are prepared to pay £10.25million for the World Cup star.
However, Bayern Munich are determined to hang on to the 22-year-old.
Bayern director Karl Hopfner told Bild: "We don't want to sell Philipp Lahm. We still need him."
Lahm, who scored the first goal of the World Cup finals during the hosts' 4-2 win against Costa Rica, refused to rule out a move, but insisted he would not allow anything to distract him from Germany's bid for glory.
"This is the World Cup and that's the only thing I'm interested in," he said. "I'm not thinking about what will happen afterwards.
