Argentina coach Jose Pekerman was concerned for Luis Gonzalez after watching his side demolish Serbia & Montenegro 6-0.

Gonzalez was injured in the opening quarter of the game and Pekerman said: "We are very happy for the match that the team has played but we are a little bit sad for what happened to Lucho Gonzalez who had to leave the pitch because of an injury.

"We still don't know what he has done because we have to wait for some medical exams. I hope he gets recovered soon and can play, it seems to be only a muscle contraction.

"Regarding what comes next, it's still too early to say what we will do in the next match.

"We have just finished a game that we won very well and want to celebrate a bit. Then in the next few days we will decide which players will be in the match against Holland."
