Argentina midfielder Luis Gonzalez has targeted the quarter-finals of the World Cup for his comeback from a torn muscle in his left leg.
Gonzalez limped out of the Albicelestes' 6-0 win against Serbia & Montenegro on Friday and will miss their final Group C match against the Netherlands and their last 16 tie.
"I think I could be back in ten days," said the 25-year-old.
"I have a small muscle tear. The doctors examined me and told me I will be able to play in around ten days, from the quarter-finals."
Gonzalez was replaced by Esteban Cambiasso during Friday's rout and the Internazionale midfielder is likely to keep the role for the match against the Netherlands which will decide who tops Group C.
