Swedes go all out to win
Tuesday 20 June 2006
Read Bill Borrows every day during the World Cup on 4thegame - you know it makes sense!

Sweden coach Lars Lagerback insists he will tell his side to go all out to beat England on Tuesday no matter what the final scoreline is in the game between Ecuador and Germany that takes place earlier in the day.
If Sweden beat Sven-Goran Eriksson's side they will top Group B and will then face the runners-up in Group A - which would be Germany if they fail to beat Ecuador.
However, Lagerback said: "That result won't affect us. We'll go out there to win which will give us an extra day of rest.
"It's important to at least get a draw. If we win, then thank you very much.
"My theory is we've always had a lot of players playing in England so they know the mentality of the game there. That could again play to our advantage.
"This squad has a lot of character. When we play against big nations, we're always in the match. I'm positive as we always play with confidence against England."
