Trinidad & Tobago captain Dwight Yorke is poised to end his Soca Warriors career after their first World Cup finals appearance ended with a 2-0 defeat by Paraguay.
Yorke's side won plenty of admirers in Germany, but they garnered only one point from three games, from a goalless draw against Sweden.
"I have played football for over 20 years as a professional and these have been the best times of my life," Yorke said.
"I can only thank everyone for their support. It is an emotional occasion for me because it may be the last time I play for my country.
"I will discuss the situation with my family, but I have no problem with that."
Yorke, 33, has played 57 times for the Soca Warriors, netting 15 goals.
