Free-scoring striker who is a regular starter alongside captain Akwa in the national team. Flavio scored three of Angola's four goals in this year's African Cup of Nations campaign despite perhaps being better known as a second striker and creator of chances for his more high-profile skipper. In the summer of 2005 the 26-year-old joined African Champions Cup winners Al Ahly Cairo where he gained valuable experience playing against some of the best in the world at the FIFA World Club Championship.
