Vastly-experienced centre-back, Moore has overcome injury problems to take his place in Guus Hiddink's squad. Made his international debut more than a decade ago against Ghana, but has only made around 30 appearances for the Socceroos. Moore moved to Europe as a teenager to join Scottish giants Rangers in 1993 and stayed for five years at Ibrox, before heading to England to link up with Crystal Palace. He was soon on his way back to the Gers before in January 2005 he decided to try his luck in Germany with Borussia Monchengladbach, but that move proved short-lived and Moore is now back in the Premiership with Newcastle United.
