A determined centre-half, Sequeira currently plays his club football in the USA with Real Salt Lake, having recently moved from fellow MLS outfit Chivas. Can also play as a defensive midfielder and made his name in his homeland with Deportivo Saprissa before moving to north America in early 2005. Made his international debut in 1999 and had spells in Europe with Karlsruhe and Feyenoord during his younger days.
