One of the most highly-rated young players in Costa Rican football, Badilla impressed in the 2005 World Club Championships in Japan last year. The stopper helped his club, Deportivo Saprissa, reach the semi-finals. Has worked his way up through the various age levels with his country and will be hoping to impress on his first appearance on the biggest stage of all.
