Now in the latter stages of his career, Solis has been a regular for Costa Rica for the last ten years, having made his debut way back in 1993. Has enjoyed a varied career, taking in spells with clubs in England, the USA, Greece and Mexico, while he currently plies his trade with Comunicaciones in Guatemala. Has made more than 100 appearances for Los Ticos and is likely to bow out of the international arena after the summer action. A solid, reliable performer, Solis does much of the unseen donkey work in the midfield engine room.
