Experienced schemer, Centeno made his international bow way back in September 1995 against Jamaica. Has since racked up around 70 caps for the Ticos and played in all three games at the last World Cup finals in Japan and Korea. The squad's set-piece expert, Centeno has played in Europe for Greek side AEK Athens, but is now with Deportivo Saprissa. Has won a number of honours with his club and impressed in last year's World Club Championships as Saprissa finished third in the tournament in Japan.
