Striker Olic currently plays his club football in Russia for CSKA Moscow, having struggled to make his mark in Germany with Hertha Berlin earlier on in his career. Is likely to have to make do with a bit-part role, with Dado Prso and Ivan Klasnic the probable first-choice pairing. Made his international debut shortly before the 2002 World Cup finals and went on to make his name with a goal in the 2-1 win over Italy. However, he played only a minor role at Euro 2004 and may suffer a similar fate at this summer's showpiece.
