A fleet-footed left-sided midfielder Babic has become a regular starter under current coach Zlatko Kranjcar. Has played almost all of his senior football in Germany, having joined Bayer Leverkusen from NK Osijek as a teenager. The 25-year-old has found himself back in favour in Kranjcar's preferred formation of a five-man midfield and just needs to add a cutting edge to his game to become a top-class performer.
