The 21-year-old is the son of Croatia coach Zlato Kranjcar, but there are no doubts that Kranjcar junior deserves his place on the plane to Germany. Currently plays his club football for Hajduk Split, having become one of few men to make a move from Dinamo Zagreb to their deadly rivals. A classy attacking midfielder, Croatia will need Kranjcar to make his mark on the international stage if they are to progress past the group stages. Has an eye for goal and will offer good support to the likes of Dado Prso and Ivan Klasnic.
