Another midfielder with attacking instincts, Castillo made the cut for Germany due to some impressive displays for El Nacional, where he forms an effective partnership with Christian Lara. The 24-year-old was only a bit-part performer in qualifying, but impressed in a couple of subsequent friendlies to get the nod from coach Luis Fernando Suarez. Strong in the air, Castillo has been tipped for a move to Europe after the summer action.
