The much-travelled 25-year-old has emerged as an England international this season since his £7million transfer from Southampton to Liverpool last summer. The gangly striker, who previously played for QPR, Portsmouth, Aston Villa and Norwich City after starting his career as a trainee at Tottenham, emerged from a difficult start to his time on Anfield by scoring some crucial goals. Crouch made his England debut in last summer's friendly victory against Colombia and netted his first goal for his country in the 2-1 comeback win against Uruguay in March. Likely to be used as a substitute in Germany where his height could prove useful.
