FC Copenhagen striker Razak Pimpong was a surprise name in Ratomir Dujkovic's World Cup squad as, prior to the announcement of the 23-man party, he had won just one senior international cap - and that came back in 2002. He was a member of the Ghana side that finished as runners-up to hosts Argentina at the 2001 FIFA World Youth Championship and also played in his country's disappointing 2004 Olympics campaign. Despite that the 25-year-old has found himself in the senior international wilderness and has had to concentrate on his club career in Denmark. The pacy frontman spent six years with FC Midtjylland before joining FC Copenhagen in January 2006 and helped them to retain the Super League title.
