Scouts from Europe's major leagues will be queuing up to watch Kuyt in action in Germany. The physically imposing centre-forward has a phenomenal scoring record in the Eredivisie and has the potential to be one of the stars of the World Cup if he can reproduce his club form. The 25-year-old netted 20 times for Utrecht in the 2002/03 season to earn a move to Feyenoord, where he has broken the 20-goal barrier three seasons running. His goalscoring exploits were rewarded with an international debut in the 3-0 victory against Liechtenstein in September 2004 and Kuyt has since established himself as Ruud van Nistelrooy's regular strike partner for the Oranje.
