Promising defender who is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in Iranian football. Kaebi made his international debut at 16 and is the youngest ever player to appear in the national side. Predominantly an attacking right-back, the 20-year-old is famed for his powerful running and dribbling which first caught the eye of the national coach during a preliminary Asian under-16 tournament in Tehran back in 2001. One year later he was a mainstay of the full national side that won gold at the Asian Games in South Korea. The only blot on Kaebi's copybook is a fiery temperament which occasionally sees the youngster on the receiving end of cautions and dismissals.
